Enjoy a few snippets of science! Be a chemist and discover the difference between baking soda and powder. Create a fantastical creature while investigating dominant and recessive genes. Make a pompom launcher and explore physics. Discover aeronautics by building and testing a plane. A snippet is just the beginning!
This virtual workshop includes a science kit which may be picked up at the Bowmanville Library in advance. Approximately one week before the program, you will receive an email when your kit is ready for pick up, and details for accessing the virtual workshop.

Children develop speech and language skills by listening and imitating those around them, but these skills may be delayed in the case of deafness or hearing loss.
Sign up your infant for a screening if you have hearing-related concerns, and learn about the follow-up services available to your family.
