Countdown to the holidays with this special literary calendar! Unwrap a book and enjoy a winter read together each day!

Each reading pack contains 12 wrapped books with holiday, winter, and other fun themes for you to enjoy as a family. A general selection of board books, easy readers, and picture books will be included.

Registrants will receive a notification when the packs are ready to be picked up in late November.

Packs must be picked up by Tuesday, December 12. Packs not picked up by this date may be re-distributed to those on the waitlist.

Please note: a user's Library card in good standing is required to participate. Please limit registration to one kit per family.

This festive event occurs during downtown Bowmanville’s Moonlight Madness event.

Waverley Place will be glittering with Edwardian Christmas decorations that recall yuletide traditions of yore. Guests are invited to gather at the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre at 62 Temperance Street for light refreshments and to create a holiday craft.

Guided tours of the historic Waverley Place house will leave from the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre every twenty minutes.

This is a free, family-friendly event. Donations to local food banks are gratefully accepted.
